Our stay at the Hidden Ridge Resort was quite disappointing. The location was lovely with nice outdoor facilities, but the state of the room left much to be desired. While the customer service was exceptional and understanding, the overall condition of the cabin made it hard to enjoy our time there. I would suggest they consider renovations to justify the pricing, as we ended up leaving shortly after checking in.

Rooms
5.0
The room was notably small and dated, with an unpleasant smell of smoke that made it hard to enjoy. The condition was poor, featuring ripped wallpaper, loose bathroom tiles, and cobwebs overhead.
Service

The service was fantastic; the staff were friendly and accommodating. They were understanding when we decided to leave and didn't charge us for the night.
Location
8.0
Located on Tunnel Mountain, the resort offers beautiful views and a serene setting, just a quick drive from downtown Banff.
Dining

Although we couldn't use the kitchen due to malfunctioning appliances, having a kitchen is a plus if it was functioning properly.
Facilities

The outdoor facilities, including a hot pool and sauna, are a great way to unwind after a day out. However, I didn’t get to enjoy them due to our early departure.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hidden Ridge Resort, especially in the spacious Premier 2 Bedroom Condo with Loft. The views of Rundle Mountain from the balcony were breathtaking, and the hot tub area is a real highlight. While some rooms could use a bit of updating, the overall experience was delightful and comfortable. The Premier King Condo with Hot Tub provided a romantic atmosphere, although the cooling system was less than ideal. I would definitely recommend these suites for a special getaway, but be mindful of room conditions in the lower categories.

The Premier 2 Bedroom Condo (w/ Loft) was very spacious and had beautiful views, while the Premier King Condo was a great honeymoon choice despite needing some updates and having issues with cooling.

The location is stunning, away from the hustle and bustle but still just a short drive from central Banff, providing an ideal retreat into nature.
Dining

Although there isn't a dining option available, the views from the unit make up for it, and I appreciated the kitchen amenities for preparing meals.

The hot tub area is a standout feature, and the pool and sauna have been recently renovated, greatly enhancing the overall relaxation experience.

I had quite a mixed experience at the Hidden Ridge Resort. The room was spacious and came with a full kitchenette, which I appreciated, especially for family meals. The outdoor hot pools were fantastic, and the mountain views added a beautiful touch to our stay. However, the comfort of the beds left a lot to be desired, especially the main bedroom, which was uncomfortable and too warm at night. Overall, it’s a decent place, especially for families, but with some issues that could use attention.

Rooms

The room was spacious with a full kitchenette but the beds were uncomfortable, particularly in the main bedroom, which got quite hot overnight.
Service
7.0
The service was generally polite and helpful when I had questions, but the cleaning policy for short stays was not made clear and could have been better.
Location

The location is slightly outside downtown Banff but offers a free shuttle service, making it convenient while being quiet.
Dining

While there were no major dining facilities, I enjoyed having a kitchenette to prepare meals with a nice view.

The outdoor hot pools were a highlight of the stay, providing a lovely place to unwind after a long day, along with a sauna and fire pits.

I had a wonderful stay with amazing views that truly made my experience special. The resort offered free bus tickets for our entire stay, which was incredibly convenient. However, I was disappointed by some cleanliness issues in the room and the outdated furnishings. Overall, it was a great little resort for families, but there's room for improvement in certain areas.

We had a wonderful family stay at Hidden Ridge Resort with its spacious cabin accommodations and breathtaking views from the hot pools. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable for our young children. However, the beds were uncomfortable, particularly in the main bedroom, which affected our sleep. Additionally, the price felt high for the quality of the accommodations, given some needed renovations.
